THE STORY BEHIND.
The story behind Sincere Love Home Care Centre is deeply rooted in the personal history of its founder’s family. The founder’s grandfather, an orphan himself, was raised by loving great grandparents who understood the struggles of orphaned children. Having witnessed their son overcome hardships, they developed a profound sense of empathy & connection with other orphans, always wishing to give back & support children who faced similar challenges.
For many years, the founder’s grandparents expressed a strong desire to help vulnerable children find the same hope & opportunity they had managed to give their son. They believed in creating a nurturing environment where orphans could not only receive care but also grow into empowered, responsible adults capable of thriving in society.
The founder, touched by the deep compassion of their grandparents & inspired by their journey from orphanhood to a fulfilled life, felt a calling to turn their dream into reality. Thus, Sincere Love Home Care Centre was established a non-profit orphanage created with the heart & vision of offering disadvantaged children the tools, care & education needed to reintegrate into society as they mature.
This orphanage is not just a place of refuge; it is a space where children are given the chance to develop their potential, to heal & to prepare for life as confident adults who can give back to society. Through this endeavor, the founder honors their grandparents' legacy, making their long-held wish to help orphans a living, breathing reality of a lasting impact on the lives of every child who walks through its doors.
THE SETUP MILESTONES.
The initial planning to establish an orphanage began in November 2020, spearheaded by Mr. David Leong, alongside a small but dedicated team of three members. The journey commenced with the formal establishment of Pertubuhan Rumah Kasih Sejati, officially registered under the Registrar of Societies (RoS) in Selangor Darul Ehsan. The submission process was a meticulous one & with much effort, the society successfully obtained approval from the RoS. To ensure inclusivity & broader appeal, the organization also adopted its English name, Sincere Love Home Care Centre, based on the registered constitution.
From the outset, a key milestone was securing a suitable premises for the orphanage. This was achieved with significant support from Chiawin Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, the property owner, which shares a strong commitment to charitable causes. This partnership allowed the team to focus on creating a nurturing environment for the children without the burden of significant overheads.
What sets Sincere Love Home Care Centre apart from other orphanage associations is its unwavering commitment to regulatory compliance & safety. Unlike many, the centre took the proactive step of obtaining all necessary approvals & endorsements from relevant authorities prior to commencing operations. This includes formal approvals from Kementerian Kesihatan, Bomba, Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) & Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). In May 2024, after an exhaustive & rewarding journey, the centre had successfully secured all the required endorsements & was ready to open its doors to the community.
This includes formal approvals from Kementerian Kesihatan, Bomba, Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) & Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). By May 2024, after an exhaustive & rewarding journey, the centre had successfully secured all the required endorsements & was ready to open its doors to the community.
In September 2024, Sincere Love Home Care Centre took a significant step forward by partnering with the Hakka Cultural Society of KL/Selangor. This collaboration aimed to strengthen the operational structure by adding key members to the Pertubuhan (organization). These new members were strategically appointed to critical positions, ensuring improved operational efficiency & effectiveness in managing the centre's day-to-day activities.
With this enhanced team in place, the centre is better equipped to serve its mission of supporting & uplifting underprivileged children. We are now gearing up for the official opening & commencement of operations in December 2024, a milestone that marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey to make a positive & lasting impact on the lives of the children we care for.
