Building & Landscape
Housed in a contemporary, three-story corner lot bungalow, strategically designed to meet the needs of the children. The property spans a land area of approximately 4,000 square feet, with a built-up area of around 5,000 square feet. The building features open, airy spaces filled with natural light, designed to create a warm & welcoming environment for the children. Safety is a priority, with secure areas for play & learning. The layout of the building encourages community involvement, with spaces for workshops, events & gatherings that foster relationships with local supporters and volunteers.

Mini Library &
Study Area
The mini library houses study materials generously donated by the public. This space is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of the children, ensuring they have access to essential resources for their studies. Additionally, the home has a designated study area where the children can complete their schoolwork & receive home tuition in a quiet, focused environment. With a well-stocked library & a conducive study space, the centre ensures that the children are fully equipped with the materials & an atmosphere to excel academically.

Adminstration Office
It can staff a maximum of three (3) dedicated admin personnel. It serves as the hub for managing all daily operational & welfare activities related to the children, such as tracking of child development, liaison with schools & healthcare providers, the management of donor & sponsorship, the coordination of events & volunteers, JKM compliance & reporting, etc. It is also a welcoming space for visitors who wish to learn more about our orphanage & the children we care for. This shall be the first stop by all visitors prior to entering the home. We encourage anyone interested to stop by & see firsthand the positive impact of our work.

Bedrooms &
Bathrooms
We have six (6) spacious bedrooms & eight (8) bathrooms, comfortably accommodating around thirty-five (35) children. The home is dedicated exclusively to female children aged between 8 to 17 years old, with a diverse ethnic mix of Chinese & Indian backgrounds. Each child is provided with her own bed, blanket, wardrobe & essential toiletries, ensuring a hygienic & comfortable living environment. This setup encourages the children to take responsibility for managing their own belongings, fostering independence & self-care skills as part of their growth & development to adulthood.

Living Hall &
Dining Area
The Living Hall is the heart of our home, providing a warm & welcoming space where the children can gather, relax & bond. It is designed with comfort in mind, featuring cozy seating, vibrant décor & ample natural light to create a positive & cheerful atmosphere. This space serves as a place for the children to enjoy recreational activities, watch television, and engage in group discussions or events, fostering a sense of community & togetherness. Adjacent to the Living Hall is our Dining Area, a place where the children come together to share meals. The Dining Area is spacious & well-organized, ensuring a comfortable environment for daily meals & special occasions alike. We believe that shared meals strengthen the bond among the children and staff & we strive to make this area a lively, yet nurturing space where everyone feels at home. Both the Living Hall & Dining Area are thoughtfully designed to reflect the care & attention we give to every child’s well-being, promoting a sense of family & unity within the home.

Dry Kitchen &
Wet Kitchen
Equipped with separate dry & wet kitchens to maintain higher hygiene standards. The wet kitchen, designed for heavier cooking, is located outdoors at the rear of the house in an open-air setting. This placement ensures that cooking smells are minimized within the house, providing a fresher indoor environment. Meanwhile, the dry kitchen indoors is used for lighter meal preparation & food handling, ensuring a clean & well-organized space for day-to-day cooking activities. This setup promotes better airflow & cleanliness while enhancing the overall functionality of the kitchen areas.
