Child Care Taker
(Day Time)

Job Descriptions

1. Attend to the children’s daily needs, including meal times, hygiene & general supervision. 2. Support the children in their activities & ensure their safety & well-being. 3. Help maintain a clean & organized environment by cleaning common areas, bedrooms & other parts of the home as needed. 4. Foster a nurturing & supportive atmosphere to make the children feel comfortable & cared for. 5. Assist in managing the daily routine of the home, including meal preparation & light housekeeping tasks.

Child Care Taker
(Night Time)

Job Descriptions

1. Stay overnight at the home, ensuring the children’s safety & attending to their needs throughout the night. 2. Supervise the children to ensure they remain in the home & do not sneak out during the night. 3. Wake the children up in the morning & assist them in getting ready for school, including helping with breakfast & school preparations. 4. Attend to any nighttime needs of the children, providing comfort & care as necessary. 5. Maintain a calm, safe & nurturing environment during nighttime hours.

Cook &
Kitchen Helper

Job Descriptions

1. Prepare & serve three meals a day for the children, adhering to the nutritional guidelines set in the menu. 2. Assist in the planning of meals & ensure variety & nutritional balance in food offerings. 3. Purchase perishable items & other food supplies as needed, ensuring freshness & quality. 4. Manage kitchen inventory, tracking usage to minimize waste & spoilage. 5. Store food properly & maintain a clean & organized kitchen environment. 6. Collaborate with staff to accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences of the children.

Accounts cum Admin Officer

Job Descriptions

1. Prepare & maintain simple accounts for the home, tracking incoming donations & managing the home’s expenditures. 2. Process & record donations, ensuring accurate documentation of funds. 3. Handle monthly salary processing for staff, ensuring timely & accurate payment. 4. Manage payments to vendors & service providers, ensuring timely settlements & maintaining good relationships. 5. Collaborate with auditors for year-end financial audits & provide necessary documentation. 6. Maintain updated records of each child’s welfare, including health records, school attendance & other important details. 7. Handle school-related administrative tasks for the children, such as enrollment, tuition payments & correspondence with schools. 8. Manage the welfare & benefits of staff, including handling any HR-related paperwork & leave applications. 9. Ensure proper record-keeping of staff files, performance reviews & training programs. 10. Maintain & organize all relevant administrative documents & records for the home. 11. Handle correspondence & liaise with external partners, vendors & donors as necessary. 12. Assist in the preparation & coordination of events, programs, or activities at the home.

Care Centre Manager

Job Descriptions

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the orphanage, ensuring all facilities are functioning effectively & the environment remains safe & nurturing for the children. 2. Identify areas for improvement within the home’s operations, from daily routines to facilities management & implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency. 3. Monitor the performance of staff members, ensuring they carry out their responsibilities effectively & in alignment with the centre's values. 4. Provide training, mentorship, & advice to staff to improve their caregiving skills & operational efficiency. 5. Handle any staff-related issues, resolve conflicts & ensure a positive working environment. 6. Be responsible for the well-being of the children, keeping an eye on their behavior, emotional health & development. 7. Handle situations where a child may be involved in external problems such as skipping school, fighting or other behavioral issues. Liaise with schools, authorities or relevant parties to resolve these issues. 8. Prepare & present reports on the home’s operations, progress & any challenges during monthly management meetings. 9. Assist the Accounts cum Admin Officer with administrative tasks when necessary, ensuring the financial & administrative aspects of the home run smoothly. 10. Act as the point of contact for schools, authorities & external organizations regarding matters involving the children. Address complaints or cases involving child behavior in a timely & professional manner. 11. Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term strategies for the growth & improvement of the centre. 12. Handle any urgent or unexpected situations that arise at the home, whether related to children, staff or facilities. 13. Assist in organizing & overseeing events or programs for the children, such as educational workshops, recreational activities or community events. 14. Support fundraising initiatives or community outreach programs to secure additional resources or foster relationships with donors & sponsors. 15. Ensure that the home complies with local regulations & standards for child welfare institutions.
